CODE OF CONDUCT, DRESS AND BEHAVIOUR

The objective of this code is to promote school civility and academic integrity and to provide a framework for the imposition of discipline in the school setting so that the students learn good habits, self-discipline, and consideration for others. The school has various rules and regulations and students are required to strictly adhere to the code of conduct. Any non-compliance with the school rules shall lead to the dismissal from the school.

1. Students are accountable to the authorities for their behavior, both within and outside the school campus. Any kind of misbehavior or misdemeanour, willful disobedience, disrespect and use of foul or offensive language will be seriously dealt with. Bullying, aggression or violence in any form is gross misconduct and shall invite immediate stern action and disciplinary action.

2. Care must be taken of the school property and no one is allowed to scratch or spoil the desks and chairs or damage any school furniture, deface the walls or in any way damage any article belonging to others. Damage done even by accident or mistake should be reported immediately to the authorities. Any damage done to the school property will be made good by the concerned student together with fine money imposed for such an offence.

3. Use of mobile phones in the school is strictly prohibited. Bringing mobile phones to school or using it in the school campus will lead to suspension/dismissal from school.

4. Students must promote communication in English by speaking in English with their teachers and peers for constant enhancement in the linguistic competencies.

5. Students are expected to be environment friendly and are not permitted to use motorized vehicles. Except cycles, no other vehicle will be allowed inside the school compound. The arrival and departure of the cycle students shall be strictly based on the valid cycle cards.

6. Students should have strict adherence to school timings. Strict action will be taken against the late comers. A student who comes late for the third time in a month will be sent home after notifying the parents.

SCHOOL TERM AND ATTENDANCE

1. Students must be regular and punctual in attending classes.

2. Failure to obtain the required attendance and unjustified absence shall be treated as breaching the code of conduct.

3. In case of absence, a prior leave application duly signed by the Parent/Guardian must be submitted.

4. Absenteeism from school for more than ten consecutive days without applying for leave or unexplained reason will entail the student’s name being struck off the rolls. Re-admission will be purely at the discretion of the Principal and that too with re-admission fee.
