CHAIRMAN'S MESSAGE

Dear students, parents and teachers,

Greetings to all!

First and foremost, I extend my utmost gratitude to our Lord, who has humbled me through His mercies and entrusted me with this esteemed responsibility of carrying out His will for this generation.

St.Thomas Sr. Sec. school is a co-educational and multi – denominational school that provides an appropriate education for all the students regardless of race, creed or ability. Our school has served the community for 40 years with many of its past pupils achieving success. Our mission is to provide quality education through shared responsibility in a safe and supportive environment for all the students to meet the challenges of a global society.

Education is considered to be the core instrument of human development and its aim is to promote excellence in all the spheres of life of the children. Each child has his/her own individuality, special skills and talents. A good educational system helps a child to nurture his/her talents and overcome shortcomings, by providing appropriate, all-encompassing education that will lead to the development of an all-round personality, which equips a child to face the challenges of life in all the future endeavors. A good educational institution is one that catalyzes the holistic development of a smart child’s mind, body and character. To achieve this goal, we provide a wide array of programmes and activities.

Our students, as twenty - first century learners, are constantly encouraged to become good global citizens with a strong commitment to service and to maintaining our environment. They are valued as individuals and they are encouraged to become the best that they can be. I believe that each child is blessed with divine potential and if nurtured righteously, he or she can attain peerless heights.

I congratulate the Principal, Vice Principal, Head Master, teachers and staff of this institution, for their commitment and dedication towards the students to be better citizens of tomorrow.
